Untitled Melee RNG — Ascend Guide How to Ascend Fast, Shadow Tower Location & Shadow Dungeon Unlock

Ascending is the most important milestone. It unlocks the Aura system, Omnipotent weapons, the Shadow Dungeon, and dramatically improves Skill Point efficiency. This guide covers the exact steps, what carries over, what resets, and how to rebuild. Last updated: March 2026.

Ascend at a Glance

You keep

  • All equipped and stored weapons
  • Accumulated Luck (Totem of Fortune permanent luck)
  • Any Auras you have rolled

You lose (reset)

  • Kill count → 0
  • All Skill Points (skill tree resets)

7-Step Ascend Walkthrough

1

Reach 1,000,000 kills

Unlock the Shadow Realm. Stack Kill Multiplier in the skill tree to reach this faster.

2

Enter Shadow Realm

Travel to the new biome. Elite enemies here drop over 2,000,000 Mana each.

3

Find the Shadow Tower

Look upward near spawn — a tall glowing blue building. Walk to it and enter.

4

Reach 2,000,000 total kills

The Ascend portal inside the Tower activates at 2M kills. Keep farming if needed.

5

Interact with the Ascend portal

Complete the Ascend. Your kill count and Skill Points reset; weapons, luck, and Auras are kept.

6

Rebuild skill tree

Post-Ascend SP efficiency is much better. Prioritize Skill Point Multiplier, then Weapons Equipped and income skills.

7

Unlock Shadow Dungeon

After 1 Ascend, reaching 2,000,000 kills again opens the Shadow Dungeon — Forgotten Giant, Weapon Crafter, Fountain of Skill.

Fastest Path to 2M Kills

Stack Kill Multiplier in the skill tree — at 8x you need 250,000 physical kills for 2,000,000 registered; at 16x only 125,000. Use the Demonic Aura (3x kill speed) after your first Ascend to speed up later cycles. Farm in the highest biome you have (Jungle or Volcano Island) and use offline kills — log out in a high biome with Auto Roll on.

Untitled Melee RNG Ascend — FAQ

How do you Ascend in Untitled Melee RNG?
(1) Reach 1,000,000 kills to unlock Shadow Realm. (2) Enter Shadow Realm and look upward near spawn to find the Shadow Tower — a glowing blue structure. (3) Walk inside. (4) The Ascend portal activates at 2,000,000 total kills. Interact with it to complete your first Ascend.
What do you keep after Ascending?
You keep: all weapons, accumulated Luck (including Totem of Fortune stacks), and any Auras. You lose: kill count (resets to 0) and all Skill Points (skill tree resets). Post-Ascend SP efficiency improves dramatically.
What does Ascending unlock?
(1) The Aura system — Loss, Demonic, Angelic enter your Roll pool. (2) Omnipotent-tier weapons in the Roll pool. (3) Access to Shadow Dungeon (2,000,000 kills + 1 Ascend). (4) Improved SP efficiency. (5) Ascend Leaderboard.
How many kills do you need to Ascend?
2,000,000 total kills. You also need Shadow Realm unlocked (1,000,000 kills) and to enter the Shadow Tower. Stack Kill Multiplier — at 16x, each zombie counts as 16 toward your total.
Where is the Shadow Tower?
Inside the Shadow Realm biome (unlocked at 1,000,000 kills). From spawn, look directly upward — it is a tall glowing blue building. Walk to it and enter through the front door.
Should I Ascend as soon as I hit 2 million kills?
Make sure your Skill Point Multiplier is high (aim for 10x+) before Ascending. Since Ascending resets your skill tree, a high SP Multiplier makes post-Ascend rebuild fast. Save your best weapons — you keep them.
How many times can you Ascend?
There is no hard cap. Players have completed 5+ Ascends. The March 14, 2026 update added content requiring 5 Ascends. Each Ascend improves SP efficiency.
Does the Shadow Dungeon unlock automatically after Ascending?
Yes. Once you have at least 1 Ascend AND 2,000,000 kills (post-Ascend kills count), the Shadow Dungeon gate opens. It contains the Weapon Crafter, Fountain of Skill, Ascend Leaderboard, and the Forgotten Giant boss (3,000 SP per kill).
